Bio
Mark Clemente took over the reins of the Regis College women's
soccer program just prior to the fall 2002 season, after spending
the 2001 season as assistant coach to Commonwealth Coast Conference
(CCC) foe Roger Williams University.
A native of Cumberland, R.I., coach Clemente played four years of
NCAA Div. II soccer at St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, N.C.,
where he earned his bachelor of arts in political science in 1998.
After leaving St. Andrews, coach Clemente attended Roger Williams
University School of Law, where he was conferred a Juris Doctorate
in law in 2001.
Coach Clemente holds an Advanced National Diploma and State
Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America and also coaches the Nor'Easter-Stingers '92 Girls Premier
Soccer Club.
During each of coach Clemente's first four seasons at Regis, the
soccer team managed to double its victory total from the previous
year. He was named CCC Coach of the Year following the fall 2005
season, when he led the then twenty-one-year-old program to its
best-ever record.
Coach Clemente also serves on staff as the Head Women's Lacrosse
Coach.
