SAAC PRESIDENT WANTS TO SPUR CHANGE AT REGIS COLLEGE

Weston, Mass.—Having recently participated in the NCAA Student Leadership Conference in Jersey City, N.J., Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President Torie Pappas is ready to make some changes at Regis College.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYS FOR THE CURE

Weston, Mass.—Regis College Field Hockey participated in the Susan G. Komen “Play 4 the Cure” effort during the college’s annual homecoming activities Oct. 17. As a part of the initiative the team wore pink socks, and sold bracelets with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.

THREE SCORE TWO EACH IN GORDON OVER REGIS VICTORY

Weston, Mass.¬-Three different Gordon College (4-12, 3-4 TCCC) players scored in the Scots 8-0 defeat of The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Regis College Thursday. Clara Baker (Underhill, V.T.), Brianne Gilbert (Windsor, Conn.), and Veronica Pierce (West Hartford, Conn.) all had two goals each.

Weston, Mass.—Katy Vogl (Cazenovia, N.Y.) opened with Western New England’s first score, setting off a scoring frenzy that would ruin Regis College’s (0-10, 0-6 TCCC) chances of picking up its first win of the season during its homecoming.

Weston, Mass.—Everyone loves and remembers sports picture day. Regis fall sport athletes are set to take individual photos Sunday at 2 pm. Men and women’s soccer, field hockey, tennis, and volleyball are set to take headshots, along with new coaches and staff members.
