LISA LEVIERGE NAMED AS TCCC REPRESENTATIVE OF NCAA REGIONAL COMMITTEE

Weston, Mass.—Regis College two-sport head coach Lisa LeVierge was announced as The Commonwealth Coast Conference representative to the NCAA New England East Regional Ranking Committee Wednesday.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College athletics department released its 2010 field hockey schedule earlier this week. The Pride will play 11 home games this season starting with non-conference opponent Simmons (Sept. 6).

16 STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO TCCC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Weston, Mass.—The Commonwealth Coast Conference officially released the names of its TCCC Academic All-Conference team Friday morning. Regis College had 16 student-athletes named to the team representing six different sports. The TCCC recognizes student-athletes that are at least a sophomore, and maintain a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 GPA scale.

FIVE STUDENT-ATHLETES HONORED WITH CRIMSON AND GOLD TASSEL

Weston, Mass.—Five Regis College student-athletes were honored by receiving the Crimson and Gold Tassel for extraordinary service to the college Friday. Seniors Amanda Hoyt (Madison, NH), Maria Mendes (Brockton, Mass.), Maria Pino (Revere, Mass.), Shannon Tonelli (Easthampton, Mass.), and Jesse Vega (Pawtucket, RI). The Crimson and Gold Tassel Selection Committee released its winners prior to the college’s commencement ceremony Saturday, May 15.
