PRIDE SET TO TAKE ON EAGLES
Weston, Mass.---The Regis College men’s swimming and diving team is set to take on Post University Friday (Nov.12) at 3:00 p.m. The Pride enters the contest with a record of 3-1 and is on a three match win streak. Their only loss was in the first match of the season against Umass Dartmouth. The Visiting Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-3 and have suffered early season losses to Misericordia, Adelphi, and Keene State

The Visiting Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-3 and have suffered early season losses to Misericordia, Adelphi, and Keene State.
The Pride is led by sophomore captain Andy Laforest (Roslindale, Mass. /Another Course) who has performed well in the past four meets for the Pride. Laforest finished first in the 100 yard freestyle for the Pride against Gordon College. Another strong performer for the Pride is Djordie Mandic (Portland, Maine) who broke the school record for the 200 yard freestyle earlier this season. Mandic finished first for the Pride in the 100 yard freestyle against Gordon College.
Senior captain Ben Perry (Chicopee, Mass. /Chicopee) has performed well for the Pride. He was the top finisher in the 200 yard freestyle for the Pride against Gordon and played a key role in the Pride’s winning performance in the 200yd Medley Relay. Sophomore Nick Yerzyk (West Hills, Calif./Chaminade College Prep.) will look to have a impact for the Pride as they look to extend their three match win streak.
The match is set to start at 3:00 p.m. and will be held at the Regis College Athletic Center.
