Davidson would later assist teammate Dallas Eubanks (St. Petersburg, FL) for Lesley's second goal. The Links stayed aggressive throughout both halves, but Regis was able to penetrate the Lesley defense to send two shots goal side. Eubanks took a team high four shots on goal, eventually scoring with 39:52 remaining in the second half.
Regis College goalie, Andrew LaMacchia (Lynn, MA), faced 26 shots from Lesley, with nine being for possible points. Regis faced a late first half scare with the ball near the goalie box. If not for a strong defensive effort from freshman Wade Thongsythavong (Salem, MA), a waiting Phil Lund (Mililani, HI) was going to score on the missed shot.
The Pride showed moments of opportunity at the 70:00 mark. With a pass from Josh Fidalgo (Dorchester, MA), freshman Shawn McDonough (Framingham, MA) just missed off the left goal post. It was the closest shot Regis would get in the last half of the game.
Lesley University took full advantage of its shot opportunities, with eight different players getting looks at the net. Nick Pedrick (Ipswich, MA) took five, yet none was see the back of the net. Steven Siragusa (Valley Stream, NY) would take four shots, with two having scoring potential.
Regis College takes on Mitchell College Sept. 6, with a 1 pm game time.
