WESTON, Mass.- The women’s field hockey game scheduled for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and will be played at the Daniel Webster  Athletic  fields.  The Pride enters the game with an overall record of 6-10 and is 4-1 in the NECC. The Eagles currently have an overall record of 4-8 and are 2-3 in conference play.

The game will be the final factor in determining the seeding of the 2011 NECC field hockey tournament. The Pride currently sits atop the conference tied for first place with Wheelock College after compiling a record of 4-1 against conference teams. A win against the Eagles would help the Pride secure a number two seed in the tournament.  The Pride’s only conference loss this season came in a last minute, double overtime play by Wheelock. This loss gives the Wildcats the upper hand in a potential tie-break situation.

The Wildcats will travel across the bay state to take on Bay Path College who currently sit last in NECC standings. The game will be played at the Bay Path Athletic Field and is set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
