STACY BURNS FEATURED IN WALTHAM NEWS TRIBUNE
Regis College field hockey sophomore Stacy Burns (Waltham, Mass.) was featured in the November 10th edition of the Waltham New Tribune in a feature piece by writer Scott Souza. Burns was named the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the Pride (8-10) to the 2011 NECC Championship with a 3-1 victory over Anna Maria.
WALTHAM, Mass. – Regis College field hockey sophomore Stacy Burns (Waltham, Mass.) was featured in the November 10th edition of the Waltham New Tribune in a feature piece by writer Scott Souza. Burns was named the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the Pride (8-10) to the 2011 NECC Championship with a 3-1 victory over Anna Maria.
Stacy Burns scored six goals this season while also adding an assist, finishing with 13 points in 2011. Burns ranked fourth on the team in both goals and points this year.
