Bio

Tim Brown enters his second year as the Sports Information Assistant at Regis College. Some of his responsibilities include tracking statistics for the school's 18 Division III varsity teams, writing news releases/recaps of athletic events, helping maintain the official athletics website, and updating the record books for the varsity programs.

Brown graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, while also minoring in Public Relations. He was a four-year member of the Dean's List and was inducted into several honor societies, including the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Lamda Pi Eta National Communications Honor Society.

While at Quinnipiac, Brown was employed as a work study student in the Sports Information Department, which served a full Division I athletic department with 21 varsity teams.

Brown was also actively involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Quinnipiac, as he volunteered on the planning committee, assisted in publicizing the event, and was a team captain. He also participated in Quinnipiac's chapter of the American Marketing Association.

In his spare time, Tim serves as a Social Media Assistant for Prove People Wrong, a motivational athletic apparel company that was co-founded by his brother. He manages the company’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts. 

Tim is the son of Timothy and Sandy Brown. He has an older sister, Casey, a younger brother, Cameron, and a younger sister, Taylor. Sister, Casey, was an NSCAA All-American soccer player at Boston University and is currently an assistant coach with the Terriers. Brother, Cameron, is a forward on the University of Maine hockey team. 

A native of Natick, Mass., Brown is pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational & Professional Communication at Regis.
