MCQUAID, PAUL RUN IN RIVIER INVITATIONAL
This past Friday, the Regis College club cross country team competed in its first meet of the season at the Rivier Invitational in Nashua, N.H. Representing the Pride were runners Owen McQuaid (Marlborough, Mass.) and Jonathan Paul (Medford, Mass.).
NASHUA, N.H. - This past Friday, the Regis College club cross country team competed in its first meet of the season at the Rivier Invitational in Nashua, N.H. Representing the Pride were runners Owen McQuaid (Marlborough, Mass.) and Jonathan Paul (Medford, Mass.).
McQuaid was the first of the two to cross the line finishing the hilly 8k course in 32:15. He was followed home by Paul who completed the course in 34:29. Those times were good for 65th and 72nd place, respectively. Additionally, in finishing the race, McQuaid and Paul became the first two men to participate in cross country in the history of Regis College.
The club cross country team will next be in action at the Wayland XC Festival on Sunday, October 7th.
