PRIDE FALL 3-0 IN TCCC MATCH-UP

Weston, Mass.-Offensively the most dominant player on the court, Salve Regina's Julianne Barry (Randolph, Mass.) led her Seahawks past Regis College 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-18) Wednesday.

Regis College (9-11, 3-4 TCCC) lost its second straight match of the week. The talented Salve Regina (10-8, 3-4 TCCC) wasted little time digging into the Pride's defense. Barry easily made her presence felt leading the Seahawks to a 25-18 first game win over Regis.

The Pride's usual leader, Ashley Paolini (Epping, NH), could not help Regis tonight. The Salve Regina defense was too disciplined in its court presence, and setter Rachel Cirella (Jamestown, RI) assisted her team to a 25-17 second game win against the Pride.

Cirella leads the Seahawks in team assists with 6.92, as Barry is second in team attacks with 1.92 per game, as stated by TCCC team cumulative statistics.

Regis College heads to Becker College Oct. 11, while Salve Regina University plays TCCC opponent Roger Williams Oct. 14.
