Pride Open Outdoor Season at Jonathan Tymann Invitational
WENHAM, Mass. — The Regis women's outdoor track and field team opened its season on the North Shore today at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational, hosted by Gordon College.
Inside the Numbers
- Zoe Kirk led the way with a standout day, posting a 16.99 in the 100-meter hurdles prelims to rank third all-time among first-years and tie for fifth in program history, before finishing fourth in the finals (17.70). She also tied a program record in the high jump (1.42m) and added a fourth-place finish in the triple jump (10.24m), the second-best mark all-time by a first-year. Aleyo Amasa-Titus followed in seventh in the triple jump (9.83m).
- On the track, Julia Benvegnu paced the Pride in the 100-meter dash (13.84), just ahead of Lily Griffin (13.94), while Hannah Griffin's 1:05.43 in the 400 meters tied for eighth in program history. In the 200, Amasa-Titus placed 11th (28.40), with Benvegnu close behind (28.66).
- In the field events, Grace Micklon recorded an outdoor personal best of 2.30m in the pole vault, and Benvegnu's 4.54m long jump moved her into 10th all-time in program history. Lily Sedam added a fourth-place finish in the shot put (7.98m).
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Kirk, Griffin, Benvegnu, and Amasa-Titus capped the day with a third-place finish in 52.88.
