Seniors Help Lead the Way in Pride’s 137–103 Victory Over UMass. Dartmouth
WESTON, Mass. — The Regis College women's swim and dive team celebrated seniors Jenna Silva and Vera Rivard in their final home meet of the season on Friday night at the Regis Pool, as the Pride earned a 137–103 victory over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Inside the Numbers:
- Senior Jenna Silva turned in a strong night, setting season-best times in the 50 freestyle (29.39), 100 freestyle (1:05.85), and 50 butterfly (32.41).
- Senior Vera Rivard contributed both in the pool and on the board, posting a time of 13:28.30 in the 1,000 freestyle before scoring 125.80 points in the one-meter, six-dive event.
- Sophia Caruso claimed the top spot in the 200, touching the wall in a personal-best 2:02.36, nearly 11 seconds fasterthan the runner-up.
- Personal bests were also turned in by Amayah Santana in the 50 freestyle (42.15) and Jesmari Perdicho, who clocked a 36.51 in the same event.
- Ava Hubster added valuable points for the Pride with top finishes in the 500 freestyle and 100 butterfly, along with a runner-up showing in the 100 IM.
- On the diving board, Christina Dupre-Honda totaled 330.85 points in her performance.
