Swim & Dive Team Well-Represented on NEISDA Fall 2020 All-Academic Team
WESTON, Mass. – Once again, several members of the Regis College swimming and diving team were honored for their academic performance, as 14 Pride student-athletes were named to the Fall 2020 All-Academic Team by the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA), announced Wednesday by the coaches' organization.
In order for a swimmer or diver to make the NEISDA All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must post a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. In total, 217 student-athletes from 20 different institutions were named to the squad based on their effort in the most recent completed term.
Seniors Thalia Bowie (Lexington, Mass.), Grant Kollien (Acton, Mass.), and Noah Toumayan-Miller (Natick, Mass.) led the Regis contingent, along with juniors Kyleigh Boatwright (Roseville, Calif.), Julia Burke (North Andover, Mass.), Mallytza Ibarra Davila (Yuma, Ariz.), Alexa Lancisi (Milford, Mass.), and Brendan Pike (Weymouth, Mass.). Sophomores Cecelia Adelfio (Gloucester, Mass.), Luke Jubinville (Fall River, Mass.), Shawna MacNeil (Medford, Mass.), and Cashman Murphy (Westwood, Mass.) also received the honor, as did freshmen Meaghan Aucoin (Raynham, Mass.) and Megan Miller (Quincy, Mass.).
Founded in 1920, the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) is a coach-run association made up of 20 NCAA Division III member institutions from six conferences in New England.
