Stone Earns Spot On NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.), a junior forward on the Regis (Mass.) women's basketball team, earned a spot on the New England Women's Basketball Association Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season.

Stone, who joined Regis' 1,000-pt club this month, posted a pair of double-doubles in a 3-0 week for Regis. She averaged 18.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game while shooting 66.7% from the field. She finished with 20 points, ten rebounds and two blocks in Tuesday's 72-42 win at Wheelock, before tallying 12 points and five boards in Thursday's 83-52 triumph over Mitchell. Stone wrapped up her week with 22 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks on Saturday in a 102-47 victory over Daniel Webster.

The award is Stone's second such honor this season after earning the recognition this December as well.

Stone and the rest of the Pride return to action Tuesday, hosting UMass Dartmouth in a non-conference matchup set to tip off at 6:00 p.m. on Higgins Court.
