Softball Run Rules Southern Vt. Twice In Doubleheader Sweep

It was a fruitful and quick afternoon for the Regis Pride softball team who put up five runs in the fifth innings of both games of a double header to complete a pair of run rule wins, 8-0 and 9-1, over Southern Vermont in New England Collegiate Conference action Thursday at Regis Field.

PRIDE SINK MARINERS, SWEEP CONFERENCE TWINBILL

Led by strong defense, effective pitching and timely hitting the Regis College softball team swept New England Collegiate Conference opponent Mitchell College Saturday afternoon at Regis Field. The wins move the Crimson and Gold to 7-5 and 3-1 in league play while the Mariners fall to 2-16 and 1-3 in the conference.
