Cross Country Wraps Up Season at NCAA Division III East Region Championships

HOPKINTON, N.H. — Nathan Thomas (Medford, Mass.), Jonnie Charest (Methuen, Mass.), and Lindsey Ferris (Fairfax, Vt.) represented the Regis Pride men's and women's cross country teams at the NCAA Division III East Region Championships, held today at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
Thomas capped off his rookie campaign with a personal best, finishing in 32:54 at a 6:38 pace - 35 seconds faster than his Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) performance.
Charest also posted a career-best in her final collegiate race, breaking the sub-27-minute mark she had long sought with a 26:55 finish in the 6K. Ferris crossed the line in 30:02.8, improving on her GNAC Championship performance.
The East Region Championships featured 40 Division III programs on the women's side. Tufts, MIT, and Brandeisclaimed the top three spots, while Colby-Sawyer was the highest-finishing GNAC program in 20th overall. On the men's side, MIT, Tufts, and Colby finished 1–2–3, with Emmanuel (Mass.) leading the GNAC contingent in 30th.
Today's race concluded the Pride's 2025 campaign.
