Bio
Tanveer Raza joins the Regis College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs as a graduate assistant in the 2026-27 academic year. Raza brings Division I experience as a former student-athlete at the University of California, Berkeley, along with a strong background in the sport of track and field.
Prior to Regis
Raza competed at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the University of California, Berkeley track and field program during his freshman and sophomore seasons. While with the Golden Bears, he gained valuable experience competing among the nation’s top collegiate athletes while developing as a student-athlete. His career marks at Cal include a personal-best throw of 15.58 meters (51-1.5) in the outdoor shot put and 43.53 meters (142-9) in the hammer throw.
Following his time at Cal, Raza transferred to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed his bachelor’s degree.
