Regis Men's Track and Field Competes at Jonathan Tymann Invitational
WENHAM, Mass. — After a duo competed yesterday in New Hampshire, the Regis men's outdoor track and field team officially opened its 2026 season today at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational, hosted by Gordon College.
Inside the Numbers
- The Pride men also turned in a strong all-around performance, highlighted by multiple personal bests and top finishes.
- Michael Hatch sprinted to a personal-best time of 12.74 in the 100-meter dash. In the 200 meters, Brady Elliott led the Pride with a time of 24.74.
- In the field events, Ryan Sweeney placed 11th overall in the shot put invitational with a throw of 11.57 meters. Sweeney also impressed in the hammer throw, finishing fifth with a personal-best mark of 38.28 meters, while Justin Thuotte followed closely in sixth with a personal-best throw of 36.95 meters.
- Thuotte added a runner-up finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.41 meters. In the high jump, Elliott cleared 1.73 meters to place third overall and move into fifth place in program history, leading the Pride. Joseph Doughty and DJ Marks each posted marks of 1.63 meters in the event.
