OWENS FINISHES 10TH AT NEICAAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Friday, February 28, Matt Owens (Boston, Mass.) qualified for Semifinals in the 60 meter dash at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Indoor Championships held on the campus of Boston University.

BOSTON, Mass. – On Friday, February 28, Matt Owens (Boston, Mass.) qualified for Semifinals in the 60 meter dash at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Indoor Championships held on the campus of Boston University.

On Saturday, Owens ran a time of 7.11, coming in 10th place in the 60 meter dash. Owens raced against athletes from Assumption, Northeastern, UMass Amherst, Colby, and Williams.

Owens and his teammate Jeremy Israel (Boston, Mass.) will compete in the ECAC Championships this weekend at the Regis Lewis Center.
