Harrow Named GNAC Player of the Week for Second Time

WINTHROP, Mass. - For the second time in three weeks, Regis (Mass.) men's tennis senior Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The announcement came from the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Harrow had a Senior Day to remember on Saturday, picking up his 99th and 100th career wins with victories in both singles (6-1, 6-4) and doubles (8-4) play in the top position against Johnson & Wales University. Harrow is just the third player in Regis program history to hit 100 wins in his career.

With Harrow's second honor of the season, the Pride has now taken the GNAC Player of the Week award in four of the possible six weeks this year. Freshman Tim Miller (North Attleboro, Mass.) was both the GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week on March 12, while Luke Horton was the Player of the Week on April 16.

Miller also got a shoutout from the GNAC on Monday, as he earned a spot on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.

The Pride will close out its regular season later today, when Clark University comes to the Regis Tennis Center for a 4:30 p.m. start.
