Regis Swimming and Diving Garners 11 GNAC Academic Selections
The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced its 2016-17 Academic All-Conference Teams with 11 members of the Regis (Mass.) swimming and diving teams receiving recognition.
WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner Joe Walsh announced its 2016-17 Academic All-Conference Teams with 11 members of the Regis (Mass.) swimming and diving teams receiving recognition. 894 total student-athletes garnered recognition this year.
Regis competes in the GNAC as an affiliate member for the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving and will become a full-fledged member for all sports July 1, 2018. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have reached second-year academic status.
Receiving recognition from the men's team were Michael Bruno, Robert Ekberg, Bryan Johnson, Kiet Luong, Ryan Tinney, and Joshua Unas.
Meghan Caggiano, Amanda Graf, Katherine Mariano, Lila Williams and Brittany Burke represented the Pride on the women's team.
