ALPHA SCORES GAME-WINNER, LIFTS PRIDE TO 2-1 VICTORY

WESTON, Mass.—Ibriham Alpha (Pennsauken, N.J./Pennsauken) scored the game-winning goal to lift Regis College to a 2-1 victory over Rivier College Friday night.

WESTON, Mass.—Ibriham Alpha (Pennsauken, N.J./Pennsauken) scored the game-winning goal to lift Regis College to a 2-1 victory over Rivier College Friday night.

Alpha had five shots on the Raiders keeper, scoring Regis' winning goal at the 87:56 mark. Teammate Lance Okey (Oregon, Ohio/Clay) notched the teams first goal of the season just 11:00 minutes into the second period. 

As a team Regis had 21 shots to Rivier's 11. Another important statistic is the number of corner kicks taken by Regis (10). The Raiders managed just four corner kicks for the match against the Pride.

Jerry Alcius (Mattapan, Mass/Northfield Mount Hermon) had four shots, while teammates Angel Aguilar (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake) and Okey had three each.

Regis will take the field against Wheelock College (Sept. 4), hosting the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m
