Bio
Liam Johnston begins his first season as the Graduate Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Regis College in the 2026-27 academic year.
Prior to Regis
Johnston comes to Regis after a successful playing career at Keene State College, where he helped lead the Owls to three consecutive Little East Conference (LEC) Regular Season and Tournament Championships, two NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances, and the 2026 ECAC Championship. A four-year member of the Owls, Johnston served as team captain during the 2025-26 season. He was a four-time LEC Academic Honor Roll selection, a member of the National College Athletic Honor Society, and maintained a 3.38 GPA while earning Dean's List honors multiple times.
In addition to his playing experience, Johnston worked as a Supermax Basketball Instructor with PGC Basketball, mentoring more than 1,000 middle and high school athletes over two summers. He also assisted the Holderness School coaching staff during the summer of 2025 at multiple NEPSAC showcases.
