In a battle for first place in the NECC, the Elms College Field Hockey squad fell to rival Regis (Mass.) 1-0 at Leary Field Saturday afternoon.
The Regis (Mass.) field hockey team honored its seniors on Tuesday night but weren’t able to come away with the win, falling 3-2 in overtime to Wheelock in a pivotal New England Collegiate Conference contest at Regis Stadium.
The Regis (Mass.) field hockey team got goals from four different players on Wednesday night on its way to defeating Bay Path University by a score of 5-0.
Mount Ida freshman Taylor Lincoln (Rye, N.H.) scored two goals in under a minute midway through the second half as the Regis (Mass.) field hockey team fell to the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.
Sophomore midfielder Aineen Callahan (Diamond Point, N.Y.) scored her first hat trick of the season Saturday afternoon as the Regis (Mass.) field hockey team picked up a key 3-0 win over Wheelock College. Callahan's second goal, her 11th of the season, made her the program's all-time single-season goal scoring leader, surpassing the mark set by Caitlin Connolly in 2004, who finished the season with 10 goals.
The Regis (Mass.) field hockey team extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday afternoon, as it defeated the Eagles of Daniel Webster College by a final score of 2-0.
