Regis Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's and women's swimming & diving programs have been recognized for their commitment to academic excellence, earning College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the Spring 2026 semester. The recognition marks the fifth time under Head Coach Diana Matthews that both programs have received Scholar All-America Team distinction.
The Pride men's team posted a 3.33 cumulative team GPA, while the women's team recorded a 3.30 GPA during the spring semester to earn the national recognition. The CSCAA announced its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams on July 1, recognizing programs across the country that achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
The honor reflects the dedication shown by Regis student-athletes both in the classroom and in competition. The men's roster featured six student-athletes, three of whom (Ryan Kim, Michael Zammuto, Aryaman Nagaraj) earned their degrees during Commencement this past May. On the women's side, 16 student-athletes were recognized as part of the award-winning team, including two graduating seniors (Vera Rivard, Jenna Silva) who completed their degrees this spring.
The success of the programs extends beyond the student-athletes. Head Coach Diana Matthews also reached an academic milestone during the 2025-26 academic year, earning her master's degree. While her achievement is not reflected in the teams' cumulative GPAs, it serves as another example of the commitment to lifelong learning and academic success that she instills within her student-athletes.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team award recognizes programs that excel academically while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics. More than 700 teams from over 400 institutions nationwide were honored this spring.
The recognition continues a strong tradition of academic achievement for the Regis swimming & diving programs, showcasing the dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence that define the Pride experience both in and out of the pool.
