PRIDE RUN IN WAYLAND CROSS COUNTRY FESTIVAL
The Regis College Club Cross Country team participated in the Wayland Cross Country Festival on Sunday afternoon. The Pride’s Owen McQuaid (Westborough, Mass.) and Jonathan Paul (Medford, Mass.) represented the club at the event.
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College Club Cross Country team participated in the Wayland Cross Country Festival on Sunday afternoon. The Pride's Owen McQuaid (Westborough, Mass.) and Jonathan Paul (Medford, Mass.) represented the club at the event.
Out of 173 runners competing on the challenging 5k course, McQuaid crossed the finished with a time of 20:00, good for 60th place. With the help of a hard sprint over the last hundred meters, Paul followed not long after in 21:22, which was good for 72nd place.
The race was won by Adam Malek of Millbury in 16:31.
The Club Cross Country Team's next race will take place at Lars Anderson Park in Brookline next Sunday, October 14th, at 9:30 a.m.
