Women’s Swim & Dive Earns Scholar All-America Team Honors for Spring 2024
CSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA TEAMS FOR SPRING 2024 - FULL LIST
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - The Regis College women's swimming and diving team has been selected as a Scholar All-America Team for Spring 2024 by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced Monday, June 24, by the national organization.
The Pride are one of 158 NCAA Division III programs to receive the honor after they posted a 3.1 grade point average in Spring 2024. Including Regis, three members of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) received the academic recognition as Norwich University and University of Saint Joseph were also included on the list.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the outstanding achievements, stating, "The commitment to academic excellence shown by these teams is truly admirable. It's inspiring to see student-athletes excelling both in the pool and in their studies. The CSCAA takes great pride in acknowledging and celebrating the dedication and perseverance of these teams."
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
Regis College sponsors 19 intercollegiate sports within NCAA Division III as a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
