PRIDE VOLUNTEER IN POOL
The Regis College swimming & diving teams spent Sunday February 22nd volunteering with the Wellesley S.T.A.R.S.
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College swimming & diving teams spent Sunday February 22nd volunteering with the Wellesley S.T.A.R.S.
The athletes helped coached the members of the stars in the pool and taught them fundamentals in what was a fun filled afternoon for everyone.
Wellesley S.T.A.R.S., Inc. offers comprehensive swim training and a competitive swim program for children and adults with special needs from Wellesley and surrounding towns, from January to June each year. For the last fifteen years, some STARS swimmers have competed in Special Olympics regional, state wide, national and international meets while others attend for exercise and social purposes.
