WESTON, Mass. – Several of the fall athletics teams helped clean up the Regis College campus during last week's preseason. The field hockey team, men's soccer team, and both tennis teams helped clean up different areas of the Regis community.
The teams helped with yard work around the campus including pulling weeds, picking up leaves, raking mulch, and just overall cleaning of the grounds.
Assistant Athletic Director Susan Decker believes this is a great opportunity for athletes to get involved in community service. "I think it is important for our teams to help on our campus with campus service. I asked the coaches for volunteers to help undertake a campus beautification project before the school year started."
