GRANADOS GARNERS CONFERENCE HONORS
Regis College women’s tennis player Elora Granados (Chillicothe, Texas) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week this week, it was announced by the conference offices on Monday morning. Granados posted wins in her first two collegiate matches for the Pride (0-5).

The Regis College women’s tennis team will open the season with seven players for 2011. The Pride move to a new conference joining the New England Collegiate Conference, “We are still building the program, but this year’s recruiting class should give the team a great start in the NECC,” stated head coach John Ciarleglio.

DEIRDRE BOTSCH COMMITS TO PRIDE TENNIS
Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women’s tennis team is proud to announce the addition of freshman Deirdre Botsch (Foxboro, Mass./Foxboro) to the fall squad. Deirdre was a four year player at Foxboro High school where she competed in both singles and doubles play. Deirdre will help boost the Pride’s depth in doubles and singles play for the upcoming season.

WOMEN'S TENNIS COMPETES IN PRIDE INVITATIONAL
Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women’s tennis team competed in the first annual Pride Tennis Invitational this past Saturday (Apr. 30). The Pride was able to experience, great weather, psyched players, and excellent tennis. The Pride was host to three other academic intuitions with Johnson and Wales University, Lesley University and Worcester State College, placing competitors in the event. The Wildcats were the overall winner of the event, with the Pride and Lancers, taking second place honors.

Weston, Mass.--- The Regis College Athletic Department announced Tuesday (Oct. 12) that The Intercollegiate Tennis Association designated Regis College tennis team members Mouhamed Diallo (Boston, Mass. /Cours Sainte Marie de Hann) and Caitlin Fitzgerald (Lynn, Mass. /St. Mary's-Lynn) as Academic All-Americans.

DUDLEY, Mass. (Sept. 25) – The Nichols College women’s tennis team celebrated Homecoming with a 9-0 victory over visiting Regis College Saturday morning. The Bison dropped only five games in singles play as they improve to 8-1 overall and 7-0 in the TCCC. Regis dips to 1-7 overall and 1-6 in TCCC action.

WOMEN'S TENNIS BATTLES IN CONFERENCE PLAY
WESTON, Mass.—Regis College (1-6, 1-5 TCCC) lost its Commonwealth Coast Conference match-up 9-0 versus Curry College (5-3, 3-3 TCCC). Regis College teammates Teanna Montoya and Mary Jane Barron tallied four points against its Curry opponents in doubles play, while Kunjan Patel and Paige Paisley added three more.

The Pride enters the contest 0-3 after dropping matches to Endicott College and Gordon College earlier this month. The AMCATS enter the match 0-2 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference after suffering a loss in their season opener to Wentworth and a loss to Becker College earlier this week.

TEANNA MONTOYA TO JOIN WOMEN'S TENNIS PROGRAM
Weston, Mass.—Regis College head coach John Ciarleglio recently announced that Teanna Montoya (Edgartown, Mass.) plans to play for the women’s tennis team this fall. Montoya’s skills on the court earned her a spot on the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School varsity team.
