Breda joins the program having served four years as a swimmer for Bentley University. She was a top point scorer for the Falcons.

At the 2009 New England Invitational Swimming and Diving Championships, O'Connor finished fourth in the 50-yard backstroke, sixth in the 100 backstroke, and 12th in the 200 backstroke.

O'Connor's success led the Falcons to a second place finish in 2009. During her time at Bentley she helped the team reach two first place, and two second place finishes at the NEISDA Championships.
