LIZ CONANT WRITES ARTICLE FOR COACH AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR MAGAZINE
Weston, Mass.—Liz Conant, Regis College head coach for women’s lacrosse and soccer, recently had her article published in the May/June 2011 issue of Coach and Athletic Director magazine. Conant is in her second year at Regis College, and concluding her first year as head coach of the two programs.

WOMEN'S SOCCER ANNOUNCES 2010 TEAM AWARDS
Weston, Mass.---The Regis College women’s soccer team capped off its fall season this past week. Four members were selected for the 2010 women’s soccer team awards. The following awards were presented for the 2010 season, the coaches award, offensive player of the year, most improved player, and the most valuable player. These awards were presented to the players by Pride head coach Liz Conant.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 23, 2010 – The Colby-Sawyer women’s soccer team celebrated senior day with a 5-0 victory over the visiting Pride of Regis College, on Saturday afternoon. Colby-Sawyer improves to 5-11-2 overall and 4-7-1 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Regis falls to 3-14-1 overall and 0-11-1 in TCCC play.

The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 3-12-1 and is 0-9-1 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Lions enter the contest with an overall record of 4-8-2 and are 2-7-1 in TCCC play.

REGIS TALLIES GOAL AGAINST CURRY COLLEGE
WESTON, Mass.—Curry College (9-5, 7-3 TCCC) scored two goals early against The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Regis College (3-12-1, 0-9-1 TCCC) Saturday on its way to a 5-1 victory. Suzanne Jensen (Framingham, Mass./Rivers School) and Brittany McLaughlin (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) tallied the scores for Curry. Regis College would fight back with Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) scoring the first goal for the Pride at 36:31.

DUDLEY, Mass. (Oct. 13) – The Nichols College women’s soccer team defeated Regis, 5-1, Wednesday afternoon in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference game. The Bison improve to 9-4-1 overall and even out in conference play at 4-4-1. The Pride falls to 3-11-1 overall and to 0-8-1 in TCCC action.

REGIS COLLEGE STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Weston, Mass.---The Regis College Athletic Department is proud to announce Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass. /Oliver Ames) of the womens soccer team player of the week. Sirois powered the Prides offense last week recording two goals versus Newbury, and a critical late game goal against Anna Maria College to lead the Pride to a 1-1 tie. Sirois currently leads the team in goals on the season tallying five goals in 14 games.

WESTON, Mass.—Jessica Graus (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) would tie the game 2-2 in the 86th minute Thursday. Her next score would be the game-winning goal for Newbury College (3-5-1), and the heartbreaking goal for the Regis College (3-9-1) women’s soccer program.

PRIDE FALLS AT THE PAWS OF WENTWORTH
WESTON, Mass.Wentworth Institute of Technology (3-7-1, 2-4-1 TCCC) earned its second conference win of the season by defeating Regis College (3-8, 0-6 TCCC) 8-0 in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference match-up Saturday. Deborah Leskey (Newton, Mass./Newton) tallied a hat-trick for the Leopards, scoring two goals for Wentworth in the first period at 34:56 and 38:45 respectively. Her third goal came at 54:50. All three goals scored by Leskey were unassisted.

HENNIKER, N.H.New England Colleges Amy Ordile (Winchendon, Mass.) netted a career-best three goals lifting the Pilgrims past the visiting Regis College Pride 8-1 Tuesday afternoon. The win is the first conference win of the season for the Pilgrims who improve to 1-2-1 in the TCCC and 2-5-1 overall. The loss drops the Pride to 0-3-0 in the conference and 1-5-0 overall.

NOR'EASTERS LEAVE REGIS COLLEGE STUNNED
WESTON, Mass.The University of New England (5-1, 2-0 TCCC) stormed its way to a 5-0 victory over The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Regis College (1-4, 0-2 TCCC) Saturday. Four different Noreasters tallied goals in the first half. Katie Caron (Winslow, Maine) scored UNEs first goal of the match at 14:11. Caron assisted Ellie Arsenault on the Noreasters second goal of the game. Morgan Jensen and Lauren Blaisdell scored at 36:01 and 44:08 respectively. The fifth goal for UNE came from an errant header by Regis' Kara Donovan into the Pride's net.

Weston, Mass.---The Regis College womens soccer team defeated Southern Vermont College1-0 Saturday (Sept. 4) at the Regis College Athletic Fields. This was the Prides first win of the season. The Pride outshot the Mountaineers 21-1 in the first half. But the Mountaineers goal keeper Catrina Cecchi (Montville, Conn./Montville) kept her team in the game by making 17 saves.
