Coach Plant’s top assistant is former Roanoke College standout point guard Alexis Bergman
A starter at point guard for the Maroons from 1995-1999, Alexis helped lead her team to three ODAC conference titles and three NCAA tournament appearances. Alexis has used her knowledge and experience at the guard position in coaching standout players; TCCC All Conference Award winner Jessie Page, TCCC Player of the Week Laura Sears.
Alexis’s main responsibilities include advance scouting, recruiting, perimeter instruction and the director of the teams strength and conditioning program.
Riseman was a two sport athlete in basketball and softball. She
was the team's captain during her junior and senior year.
Personal:
Alexis resides in Waltham with her dog Ellie and works full time as
a Master Level Personal Trainer at the Boston Sports Club in
Waltham.
She enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her animals Max,
Skeeter, and Ellie. Riseman states her best coaching experience has
been "Coaching with Coach (Julie) Plant."
