Bio
Jennifer Parrish began to play tennis at 9 years old. Coach Parrish played high school tennis at St Paul's Catholic High School in Bristol, Ct, where she played #2 singles. Parrish continued her tennis at Division I, Central Connecticut State, playing both singles and doubles for the Blue Devils.
An avid player in her post college life, Jennifer has played in USTA Adult Leagues and also women’s doubles in the Dorothy Bruno Hills Indoor Tennis League, most recently playing for Longfellow’s 1A team. Jennifer has won several USTA tournaments in mixed doubles and ladies doubles. She is a former teaching pro at Farmington Field Club in Farmington, CT and The Longfellow Club, Wayland, MA. She was certified by the Professional Tennis Registry.
Coach Parrish, as the secretary and part owner, is also involved in the operation of the Parrish Six Love Pro Shop. Parrish’s duties include accounting, buying and stringing racquets. Jennifer has been married for 23 years to Phil Parrish, who is the Tennis Director at the Longfellow Club. She and Phil have 4 kids, a girl and 3 boys, all who play tennis as well!
