TRIO OF CAPTAINS RETURN FOR 2013-2014

WESTON, Mass. - Head men's lacrosse coach Josh Blumenthal recently announced the re-naming of three returning captains for the 2013-2014 season.
Rising Senior Brian Cidado (Easton, Mass.) returns for his third season in the role after leading a gritty Pride defense in which he played and started in all fifteen contests while causing nine turnovers and scooping up ten groundballs.
Fellow classmate Chris Campbell (South Hadley, Mass.) returns for his second go-around in the same position. Campbell was recently selected to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) First Team All-Conference after putting up twenty-five points. The transfer student has been a mainstay on both sides of the field with a conference-leading six man-up goals.
Goaltender Breandan Crane (Billerica, Mass.) rejoins the leadership contingent as well. Slowed in 2013 by injury, the 6'3 net minder played in four contests, registering 42 total saves for an average of over ten saves per game.
"Captains are a very important asset to any team and coaching staff but having these three young men all return to the same position helps continue to elevate our development and discipline levels," Blumenthal said.
