As a Freshman:

Kaplan has started in five games and played in eleven this season, collecting five goal, two assists and 33 ground balls. 

High school:

Kaplan ran cross country (4), outdoor track (3), indoor track (2), and played baseball and lacrosse, both for two years.

Personal:
Father is Ron Kaplan...Mike intends to become a nurse...his favorite athlete is Lance Armstrong.
