Bio

David Thompson joined the men's basketball program in August 2009. Thompson is a graduate of Juniata College, having earned his bachelor's in business management in May 2009.

Under the direction of head coach Nathan Hager, Thompson will be responsible for various parts of practice organization, including player development, practice scheduling, and skill position programming. Thompson will also provide office support to the program, as well as serve as assistant for recruiting.

Other duties involve serving as game manager, scouting, coordination of game promotions, and game clip breakdown and arranging travel to and from games.

While at Juniata, Thompson was a two-year starter for the Eagles head coach Greg Curley. He started all 25 games for the Eagles in 2008-09, averaging 14.6 PPG, and shot better than 87 percent from the free throw line.

Personal:
Thompson will be working towards his masters in elementary education while coaching at Regis.
