FRESHMAN LEADS PRIDE IN POINTS, REGIS FALLS TO ROWAN
Weston, Mass.—Freshman Ndubisi Ezeigwe (Brockton, Mass.) led Regis College with 14 points against Rowan Friday. The Pride lost 66-60, dropping its record to 1-1 on the season.
Senior Jesse Vega also tallied double-digits, contributing 10 points in 5-of-5 shooting. Ezeigwe was 6-of-10 from the field.
As a team Regis shot better than 51 percent from the floor. The Pride shot only 10 percent from behind the arc. Thorton Paul (Boston, Mass.) was the only person to hit a three in the game. Paul notched nine points, two rebounds, and was 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
Regis didn’t maintain many of its offensive possessions with jut four offensive rebounds, and had 17 turnovers in the game.
The Pride will look to regain its game plan
when it faces St. Joe’s of Brooklyn Saturday.
