    Regis (Mass.) swimming & diving seniors Nick Rainville (Reading, Mass.) and Jessica Higgins (Peabody, Mass.) were named men's and women's Great Northeast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week, while freshman Grant Kollien (Acton, Mass.) was named the men's GNAC Rookie of the Week.

    Jordan Seldon (Everett, Mass.) hit a go-ahead three-pointer from the right wing with 43 seconds left to help lift the Regis (Mass.) men's basketball team to an 80-74 victory over Worcester State University in the consolation game of the Babson Invitational Tournament on Sunday afternoon at Staake Gymnasium.
  • Women's Basketball Defeated by #1 Tufts

    The Regis (Mass.) women's basketball team was unable to match the nation's top-ranked team on Saturday afternoon, falling to Tufts University by a score of 81-41 at Cousens Gymnasium.

    Senior Roger Hamel (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and freshman Juvens Dalger (Oakland Park, Fla.) each scored 16 points, but the Regis (Mass.) men's basketball team dropped a 75-70 decision to Endicott College in the semifinal of the Babson Invitational.

  • Women's Basketball Falls To MIT In Season Opener

    Melissa Rogers (Billerica, Mass.) scored a team-high 20 points, Shannon Hayes (Billerica, Mass.)  added 14 points and five rebounds but it wasn’t enough as the Regis (Mass.) women’s basketball team opened the season with a 62-50 loss to MIT in the opener of the Tufts University Tip-Off Tournament Friday night at Cousens Gym.

    Jawaun Lewis (Jacksonville, Fla.) scored a team-high 10 points, Marc Trinidad (Bronx, N.Y.) added nine rebounds but it came in a losing effort as the Regis (Mass.) men’s basketball team suffered a season-opening loss to Wheaton, Wednesday at Emerson Gymnasium.
