In an effort to broaden student-athletes’ experience and instill a sense of service to all, the Regis College women’s lacrosse team took the opportunity to travel to New York City this spring break. In the Big Apple, the team volunteered with Friends of Rockaway (www.friendsofrockaway.com), a community-based nonprofit organization founded in response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy on the Rockaway Peninsula
The Regis College men’s and women’s volleyball teams hosted a charity volleyball tournament Thursday night to raise money for Walk So They Can Run, an annual walk to benefit the Bakhita House in Boston.

On Sunday May 4, the Regis College men's and women's tennis teams volunteered at the 46th annual Walk for Hunger, which promotes the goal of raising money for Project Bread so they can help feed struggling families and individuals in the city.
