BEHOLD THE CARDINAL AND GOLD
Fear the Pride Friday! Each Friday before games Saturday, the craziest of fans wear Pride apparel to show support for the athletes. When the Pride don its home white uniforms and the crowd does as well, it gives the opponent an eerie sight of seeing nothing but PRIDE.
Athletics Pride 101! During summer orientation, athletics hosts its annual induction of all newbies into the pack. A pep rally of sorts introduces the new class to the Prides chants, cheers, fight songs, and what it truly means to be king of the jungle.
Homecoming and Pep Rally! It is hands down the most insane event of the year. During the fall sports season the Pride of the past reunite with the Pride of the future for one jam-packed and incredible weekend. Usually held Oct. 15-18 of every year, prepare now to cheer on the Pride before every big game. Events start with the annual pep rally.
White Out! Most often held during the winter sports season, the "White Out" is an event where fans are asked to wear their white "Regis College Pride" shirts to support the men and women's basketball teams during conference games. Men’s Basketball
Regis College vs. Curry College
With an almost identical recruiting territory the Colonels have too often stepped too far into the Pride domain. Player’s that hold their alliance to Regis College often look forward to this match up as Curry was most likely their alternative suitor.
In the battle of man vs. beast, there can only be one king. This contest is tapped to be a “MANE-IAC Game of the Week” each year.
Regis College vs. Wentworth College
Big Cat versus Big Cat, oh what a struggle this game always seems to be. The Leopards quite often give the Pride one of the best games of the season. Each year of competition Regis College has clawed deeper into showing the Leopards who is the true King of the jungle.
Women’s Basketball
Regis College vs. Nichols College
Having one of its largest recruiting classes in years, the Pride stormed The Commonwealth Coast Conference schedule with fury. Its 18-8 record in 2007 led the Pride to a quarterfinals match-up with Nichols College. Unfortunately Regis College would fall in a heartbreaker game to the Bison by 10.
There is nothing that infuriates the Pride more than when Nichols steps into The Den. From tip-off to the final horn this game is marked from the start of the season as a must watch game.
Regis College vs. Endicott College
Making its second consecutive appearance in TCCC playoffs in 2008, the Pride faced the Gulls of Endicott for a quarterfinal match-up. A Pride Ride full of MANE-IACS attended the game, and unsurprising to the Pride, Regis College was the loudest section in the gym.
With all of the support, Regis College could not outlast the Gulls. Pesky and dirty birds! Nothing makes the Prides mouth water more than the crispy taste of fried Gull come conference time. Be sure to be in attendance for this game.
Women’s Volleyball
Regis College vs. Endicott College
The Pride served up, no pun intended, one of its best conference performances in 2007. Finishing its TCCC schedule eligible for the playoffs, the Pride would head the short distance north to face Endicott College.
In the heated battled the Pride fell to the Gulls in three sets. The bitter taste of feathers is still present today. The countdown begins after every season until the two meet again.
