Director of Athletics Marybeth Lamb named Meghan Hunt MS, LAT assistant athletic trainer in August 2007.

Prior to joining the Regis staff Hunt served time as the head athletic trainer at New Lexington High School (Lexington, Ohio). Her college experience comes from working at Wheaton College, the University of Houston, and Johnson and Wales University (Providence, RI).

As an assistant athletic trainer and student in these positions Hunt treated the various injuries of athletes, assisted in post-surgical rehabilitations, and was taught the use of the SportMetric system, which is used in ACL rehabilitations.

Hunt is a 2006 graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, which is a CAATE accredited program. In June 2007 Hunt obtained her Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University (Athens, Ohio).

Hunt is a resident of Waltham, Mass.
