Amanda Carlson
Bio

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in May, 2011 from Regis College in Sports management. While at Regis College she was a member of the softball team for four years where she served as her team captain her senior year. Amanda is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications.

Amanda currently works as the Assistant Athletic Administrator in the Regis College Athletics Department.  Her main responsibilities include member relation services, scheduling practice and rental times for the facility, and overseeing work study students in the fitness center and front desk. Amanda regularly communicates with members of the Regis College athletic facility by sending e-mails, updating the daily telephone hotline, and revising the Whiteboard in the main lobby to communicate the hours of the facility. Amanda communicates with all coaches of the sixteen varsity teams concerning practice times in order to create a weekly schedule for the facility. By communicating through e-mails and phone calls she creates, reviews and posts weekly schedules that display the usage of the facility. Amanda’s final responsibility is to train work study to oversee the fitness center by presenting them with the rules and regulations through a face to face presentation as well as a written handbook.  Amanda aspires to someday become an athletic facility manager or athletic director.
