Men's Lacrosse Gives Back At IMPACT Melanoma 5K Run/Walk For Hope

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Regis (Mass.) men’s lacrosse team took time to give back, donating their time and effort at the Melanoma 5K Run/Walk For Hope at Waltham High School Sunday morning.

Hosted By IMPACT Melanoma, the 4th Annual Melanoma 5K Run/Walk for Hope helped raise funds for the organizations educational and support programs. The event was open to persons of all ages.

The team assisted in the setup of the event which included putting up tables, tents and marking the course.

The Pride players and coaches organized themselves at the bottom of the hill and cheered on all the participants as the crossed the finish line.

IMPACT Melanoma, which stands for Improving Melanoma Prevention, through Awareness, Care & Teaching, a national non-profit organization dedicated to working to reduce the incidence of melanoma. It provides education, prevention, and support for the most serious form of skin cancer as well as provide a variety of award-winning programs which aim to raise awareness and educate the public about skin cancer.
